Annual
The Annual provides regular updates on the Academy’s activities, from new projects through research milestones, member profiles and interviews with up-and-coming researchers, to showing the Academy in figures. The President’s report for the ceremonial annual meeting is also published in the editions from 1914 to 2013. Since 2019, the Annual can also be read as an e-paper. This allows readers to click links in the articles directly to access videos and podcasts centrally stored in the media centre.
Archive: 1913–2019
The Annuals contain obituaries for deceased Academy members and therefore provide a valuable history of science resource. All obituaries in Annuals published since 1913 have been digitalised and can be downloaded directly from the deceased member’s page. Prior to 2020, the lecture given at the ceremonial annual meeting was published in the Annual, as was the President’s report up to 2013.
The older editions of the Annual published since 1913 can be viewed in the Academy’s library by prior appointment (bibliothek[at]badw.de).
