All scientific publications of the Bavarian Academy of Sciences and Humanities are available through open access. Digital humanities provides a sustainable and high-performance publication infrastructure to enable this.

All digital publications and digitalised versions of print publications can be found in citable form on the Academy’s publications server. The publicly available databases of the research projects are also listed there and can be accessed by clicking the links.
Some of the most frequently consulted publications are listed below:
- Meeting minutes and studies. – Academy members publish under two series: “studies” and “meeting minutes”. The studies were first published in 1763 in the form of monographs from all Sections. Minutes recording the proceedings of Section meetings have been published since 1860.

- Corpus Glossariorum Latinorum – critical editing of Greek and Latin glossaries

New projects generally publish their findings in digital format, or digitally and in print. The standard license used for digital publications is the Creative Commons license CC BY 4.0: All publications licensed in this way are expressly permitted to be downloaded, used, and, subject to naming the author, passed on, uploaded again to another location or incorporated partially or in modified form in other complete works.
