Executive Committee

The Academy’s Executive Committee is composed of the President, the four section spokespersons and the General Secretary. The Executive Committee is responsible for decision-making on the following in particular:

• Timing of project evaluations
• Research quality assurance measures
• Drafting the budget proposal for the two-year budget; execution of the budget plan
• Managing the assets of the Academy
• Approving the staffing and resources allocated in the budget plan
• Deployment of Academy representatives to external and associated institutions
• Awarding the Bene Merenti Medal and Medal of Merit
