Alumni of the Young Academy
Since its establishment in 2010, the Young Academy has produced over 40 alumni. An above-average number of fellows left the Young Academy early after accepting an appointment to a chair. Many members have received highly endowed prizes and grants and now hold leading positions in the academic world or science-related fields.
The Academy promotes networking between current and former members of the Young Academy and with other Academy members through suitable exchange formats. The alumni contribute to Academy events with their expertise and benefit from collaboration in a cross-generational network of researchers. By participating in mentoring programmes, they pass on their experience to the next generation.
