Walter Burley’s Two Early Commentaries on Aristotle’s "Physics"
The commentaries on Aristotle's “Physics” by philosopher Walter Burley (c. 1275–1344) shaped a university debate in the late Middle Ages that dealt, among other things, with the ontological status of key concepts of Aristotelian natural philosophy, such as motion and time. This project is, for the first time, critically editing these commentaries and making them available online. An English translation is also planned.
