Munich AI Lecture: A Cryptographic Perspective on Machine Learning Trustworthiness Challenges
About the lecture
For decades, cryptographic tools and models have transformed technology platforms controlled by worst-case adversaries into trustworthy platforms. In her lecture, Prof. Goldwasser will describe how the toolkit of cryptography and interactive proofs can address trust challenges in various phases of the machine learning pipeline.

About Prof. Goldwasser
Shafi Goldwasser is the Leighton Family Professor of Mathematics at MIT, the C. Lester Hogan Professor in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences at UC Berkeley (on leave), and an Emeritus Professor in the Computer Science and Applied Mathematics Department at the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel. She is a former Director of the Simons Institute for the Theory of Computing and co-founder and Chief Scientist of Duality Technologies.
